Tutorial: Train Your Voice

Stop the "Robot Speak" Forever

The #1 reason mompreneurs quit using AI? "It doesn't sound like me." It sounds like a corporate brochure or a generic robot. But here's the secret: AI is like a new employee. If you don't train it, it guesses. And it usually guesses wrong.

You don't need to be a coder to fix this. You just need 20 minutes and three examples of your best writing.

Step 1: The "Goldilocks" Collection

Find three pieces of content you've written that sound exactly like you. Not your "professional bio" (too stiff) and not your text messages (too casual). Find the "just right" middle ground.

  • 1. A social media post that got great engagement.
  • 2. An email newsletter where you shared a personal story.
  • 3. A blog post or "About Me" page section.

Step 2: The Training Prompt

Copy and paste this exact prompt into ChatGPT. Replace the brackets with your text.

"I want you to learn my writing style. I am going to paste three examples of my writing below. Please analyze them for tone, sentence structure, vocabulary, and personality. Do not write anything yet. Just confirm you understand and tell me what you noticed about my style."

Step 3: The "Voice Check"

Once AI responds with its analysis (it might say you are "empathetic," "direct," or "humorous"), give it a test run.

Type this:

"Great. Now, using that same style, write a short Instagram caption about how hard it is to balance business and kids during the summer holidays."

If it's 90% there, you win! If not, tell it: "That's a bit too formal. Make it sound more like I'm talking to a friend over coffee."
